To Light

I carry you in the diamond everywhere
The life that bore you blown out
In the age before last
Refracting now divine affections

Unearthly your reflections
On the windows of steel mills
And the dark eyes of doves
On all that moves not, or moves

Marking the skyward covenant
Arcing full spectrum
With equal reach for chink
Or bold reeling galaxy

Lavishing, adorning
Falling full around the shoulders
Of all who know your Source
How you well embellish Grace
